Our Story
Daniel & Mikayla grew up in neighboring towns with small populations. They ultimately "knew who each other was" due to a large web of friends in common. It wasn't until a going-away party of mutual friends, that they really hit it off!
Mikayla initially thought Daniel was a great conversationalist and she was fascinated by the depth of his love for music, and totally captivated by his dimples. Hello, Ford Modeling Agency?
Daniel had asked a mutual friend about Mikayla prior to that historic going-away party, to which their response was, "good luck" -- she didn't have a car at that time, and he often saw her walking around town!
Their very first 'date' was hiking Stowe Pinnacle, the gorgeous mountain backdrop that they look at every day from their home in Stowe Hollow. The pair share many similar interests such as recreating outside; listening to many genres of music; fine dining; and of course, loving and playing with their dog, Maple, who was the missing puzzle piece to making them feel like a family!
Daniel takes good care of Mikayla by always changing her car's oil and rotating her tires with the seasons, and Mikayla reciprocates by keeping him happy with decadent homecooked meals that both he and his shirts enjoy.
We would love for our guests to join us in dressing in cocktail attire; bonus points if you complement the earthy tones of our wedding.
